We wanted to share some delicious crepes recipes with you, using some of our sweet and savory products. Why not expand your concept of when you can enjoy crepes to “any time”? We’re sure you’ll be able to come up with endless ways to change up your crepes for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. These were originally posted to promote Lourdes Gourmet on Overstock.com’s Farmers Market.
Sweet and Savory Crepes with Lourdes Gourmet
3-4 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 cup water, 1 1/4 cup of flour, 3 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Place and mix all ingredients in blender. Leave covered and place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- In a medium sized crepe pan, melt some butter over medium heat. Spoon approximately 1/4 cup of batter and allow it to turn golden brown before flipping.
- Stack all crepes on top of one another and cover to retain heat.
When ready, try filling a crepe with 2 spoons of our Coconut Spread, fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Fill another crepe with our Pineapple Jalapeno Marmalade, any mild white cheese and spinach.
Try a crepe with 2 spoons of our Guava Jam and cream cheese. Or, substitute Havarti cheese for cream cheese for a more savory flavor.
Fill a crepe with our Mango Spread, whipped cream and unsweetened coconut flakes.
Or, try 2 spoons of our Chimichurri, scrambled eggs, cherry tomatoes and Swiss cheese.
Use your imagination with no limits. You’ll be able to create endless, delicious combinations.
